A typical work day…

*RING RING*

“IT this is Seth.”

“Hey Seth! Hey I got back to my computer and everything is all messed up.”

“How so?”

“Everything just doesn’t look right. Can you fix it?”

“Um, ok, what’s your workstation ID?” (ip address, so I can VNC in)

“H C, *number* underline thingie, *number number*”

“Those are underscores.”

“Oh ok”

I VNC in to see a window that isn’t maximized, and it’s a little off to the right.

*click*

Window is maximized.

“Wow that fixed it!! What did you do!?”

“I made your window full screen again by clicking that button there.”

“Oh thank you so much!”

“You’re welcome”

*click*

*wham wham wham wham wham wham wham wham*

(me banging my head against the wall)

Research results

October 11th, 2006 by seth

After an extensive 23 year study, I’ve reached the following results concerning coffee and its goodness. Yes, it’s goodness.
Not good frozen... not good boiling.

It’s not very good scalding/boiling, and it’s not terribly great frozen or stone cold, either. Coffeesicle. Ick.

#1 on my Christmas list…

October 4th, 2006 by seth

It’s October 4th. We all know what that means. It’s time to start preparing for the upcoming holiday: Christmas.

So I’ve begun my Christmas shopping and already I’ve found what will undoubtedly be at the #1 spot on my list: The DVD Rewinder. Yes, that’s right. Unfortunately, my DVD player only plays them and doesn’t rewind them. It was one of the first DVD players out, so that was before rewind came standard. Now I have to use a separate device to rewind my DVDs.

Now I don't have to throw away a DVD after I watch it! YAY!
